Legal Department Protocols
Know how and when to engage the legal department
The Apis and Inperium Legal Department provides legal guidance and support on matters that may affect the organization, its affiliates, or its operations. Understanding when legal review is required helps ensure issues are addressed promptly, consistently, and in accordance with organizational policies and applicable law.
Legal review is generally required for matters involving:
- Contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
- Licensing and regulatory matters
- Actual or potential litigation
- Government or regulatory inquiries
- Security incidents or data breaches
- Significant compliance or legal risks
- Other matters requiring legal interpretation or advice
To ensure legal matters are managed efficiently and consistently, only Affiliate Highest Ranking Employees (HREs) and Apis Executive Leadership, or their authorized designees, may contact the Legal Department directly regarding legal issues.
Employees who become aware of a matter requiring legal review should notify their supervisor or organizational leadership, who will coordinate with the Legal Department in accordance with established protocols.
